About

Ryan is a Digital Media Arts major at Hamline University. He was born in Michigan and later came to Minnesota. As he grew up, he developed a passion for playing video games and always wondered how they worked underneath the hood. He discovered programming and began teaching himself how to create computer games and later discovered music, arts, and other forms of digital expression once he began studying at Hamline University. He is currently working on back-end programming practices for an upcomming senior seminar project for Spring of 2017.

His favorite activities include skateboarding, playing piano, yo-yoing, gaming, playing with cats, and programming. Spending time with friends and family is paramount because it grants him excellent opportunities to discuss radical game ideas, music, and cool stories. During his time at Main Street High School of Performaning Arts, he learned the ways of music composition. His study of the musical arts is essential in assisting in the creation of his various projects, including original music for RPG series Stone King.

Ryan is currently a senior. This site showcases some of the projects and exercises he worked on throughout his years at Hamline. Some of the courses he took included: photography, video, music production, web design, computer science, and other exciting courses! Creating content for the web is one of his favorite activites. The ability to create anything from web applications to tools for personal use permits extreme creative freedom. This idea is very exciting for Ryan, because it gives him the opportunity to unleash his imagination on a multitude of levels.
