Thankfully I was still
able to hear this
time

But it came with

I had to occasionally
go to speech therapy

It would be intimidating sometimes
to engage in converstion with others

I got misunderstood so many times
and I would get sent to the
principal for stupid reasons

Sometimes my
head would "spin"
and everything
seemed "warped"

Growing up I would visit the
hospital for minor ear
surgeries

The cochlear implant
definetely
has its challenges
growing up...

Medically
Socially

Mentally

those challenges
