A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted neuroprosthetic device to
provide a person with hearing loss a modified sense of sound

I carried around
a device called
a cochlear implant.
I slide a battery in
and attach the
magetic headpiece
to my head behind
the ear.

Eventually I upgraded my device as I got older for better sound
and convenience such as it being able to sit on the ear and blutooth

This is where the

Sometimes I got so
frustrated at first
relearning to hear
I would yank the
headpiece off

I kept doing the things I loved to do
and I was back to my normal silly self
