Waterfall by Daniel Canogar is a piece that is made up of four wavy LED screens. The screens are programmed to show real-time data of the global trading market. The numbers constantly flow up and down the screens simulating a waterfall. Below is an image where the numbers are easier to see. The thing I really like about this piece is that it's amusing to look at. Looking at the different colors and seeing the speeds the numbers flow at is mesmerizing and very calming. The numbers are constantly changing since it's real-time data from all over the world. Nobody will ever see the same set of numbers on the screens and I think that's exciting. |
