However, I also had to appropriate one image to create this photomanipulation. I chose to include a high-resolution photograph of the moon, titled Full moon over moraine, which was taken by Ellen Morris Bishop. I decided to appropriate this image because I do not have the adequate photography equipment for capturing a high resolution close-up of the Moon with nearly as much detail as this photo. Additionally, its dramatic visual quality was enticing, and seemed like it would lend itself well to the rest of my composition. |
