Mark Napier - Riot

Riot is a 1999 alternative web browser that crosses virtual boundaries on the web. Inspired by the 1998 Tompkins Square riots in New York's East Village, Napier's piece blends multiple web pages together into one browser. Users see their own page merged with the pages of others.

Riot makes use of sites such as Playboy.com, Whitehouse.gov, CNN.com, and NPR.org. The piece is an example of Napier's background in programming and user-experience.
