I was taken to an
audiologist to see a doctor

The audiologist conducted tests
such as shaking keys

I still motioned to
my ear

I was put in a room
that played sounds on the speakers

The audiologist
completed testing and

At first we tried normal
hearing aids which amplify
sounds
But these little guys
didn't do the trick

It was determined
at the age of 3
I had lost my
hearing

So it was decided
I undergo a
cochlear implant
surgery
