EXTRA BUTTER PLEASE!

My Top Movie Theatres!

1. Treat Yo Self: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Woodbury

Budget: $$$
Rating: 5/5
Link: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Woodbury
Address: 9060 Hudson Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125
Review: The Alamo is a great place to go if you are a movie nerd! The Alamo feels like a love letter to old movies from the old posters to showing old movies clips before the showing. Fun Fact: the clips they show before the movie is related to the movie you are going to watch! This place is a dinner and movie situation so when you walk in the server will check your seats then explain how to order thoughout the movie. Also if you hate people talking or people being on their phone then you can let your server know and they will take care of the situation for you! Over all this place is A+ and everytime I go their I fall in love again with the movie going experience.

2. Ummm I'm a College Student: Marcus Oakdale Cinema

Budget: $$
Rating:4.5/5
Link: Marcus Oakdale Cinema
Address: 5677 Hadley Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128
Review: Marcus is the normal go to movie theatre for me. It's like AMC but not as expensive and has nicer seats. Marcus tickets are usually around 12-16 dollars but they have some students deals as well! But the reason I put this one on the list is because the have 5 dollar Tuesday tickets every week so it's nice if you want to catch a movie during your week or you are looking for some cheap tickets. Overall Marcus is a good place for some nice ICEE and butter popcorn.

3. Summer Memories: Vali-Hi Drive-In

Budget: $
Rating: 5/5
Link: Vali-Hi Drive-In
Address:11260 Hudson Blvd, Lake Elmo, MN 55042
Review: Vali-Hi Drive In is the best place to make summer memories, it's like the movie Grease come to life! It's an amazing place to go with family, friends, and partners! For the drive in you should typically get there an hour early if you want a nice spot since there is always a line to get in. To get in and to buy food it's all cash so make sure to get some before the trip there. They usually show 3 newer and older movies but you don't have to stay for all of them but if you do be warned you will be there until 2-3am. They are currently closed right now but make sure to check them out this summer if you are looking for something fun to do!
